Plymouth Music Studio

A non-refundable $10 fee is required for all new students at the time of registration.  The Mel Bay Guitar Sheet Music book is included in this fee.

 

Tuition Payment:

Tuition for music lessons is paid using our card billing system.

 

These constant rates are calculated by dividing the total number of lessons in the next year by 12 months and multiplying by the per lesson rate.

 

Per lesson rates:

1.     $20/half hour

2.     $30/45 minutes

3.     $40/hour

 

Please see the table below to determine your monthly rate based on the day and length of your lesson.  The number in parenthesis is the total number of that day in the next lesson year.

Dates that lessons will not be given: Jan 1^st, May 24^th, July 4^th, August 24^th, September 7^th and 24^th, October 31^st, November 25^th - 27^th, December 24^th � 26^th and 31^st

 

Missed/Make up Lessons:

• Please see the dates above regarding what dates the studio will be closed.  It is understood that lessons will not be given on these days.  At registration, you will receive a calendar with these dates clearly marked.

 

• Throughout the year, each student will be permitted to miss 4 lesson days due to any reason.  These 4 lessons will be refunded or made up.  One day of notice is required for this to be valid.  If one day of notice is not given, the lesson will not be refunded or made up and it still counts as 1 of the 4.  After these 4 missed lessons, you will not be refunded or made up.  Rescheduling the lesson is still possible based on available times.

 

• If the need arises to change to a different recurring lesson time, it can be done based on what times are available.

 

• Should you decide to withdraw from lessons after the current month has already been billed, the unused lessons will not be refunded.

 

Care of Students:

The studio is not responsible for providing before or after lesson care for students.  Students are not to be left at the studio for excessive amounts of time before or after their lessons.

 

Injuries:

Parents, legal guardians, and students waive the right to legal action for any injury sustained on studio property resulting from normal lesson activity or any other behavior conducted by the students before, during, and after lesson time.

 

Withdrawals and Refunds:

Students may withdraw from lessons at any time; however, refunds will not be given for any unused lessons that have already been paid for.  The Plymouth Music Studio reserves the right to terminate lessons to any student.  In such a case, a refund for unused lessons will be given.
